This tea towel features the adorable kororā/Little Penguin which can be found coming ashore on Tiritiri Matangi Island in the evenings. There are many nesting boxes on the island which they make use of but they also improvise their own shelters and can even be seen wandering up into the bush in search of the perfect spot for a moe/sleep.
