Forest and Bird's Bird of the Century campaign has announced the champion: The Pūteketeke!!!
After an "alarmingly aggressive" campaign by Last Week Tonight's host, John Oliver, the Pūteketeke has come out on top and taken the title of Bird of the Century. We absolutely love this global news coverage as it not only garners a lot of attention for our vulnerable native species, but also raised money to support the amazing mahi of Forest and Bird. Now you can also support our lovely birds by purchasing and wearing this sustainable design - $2 from each pair sold will go to Forest and Bird. 
These triple layer design is laser cut from white, gold and black ice cream container lids and drape over one another like the 'crest' on the Pūteketeke/ Australasian Crested Grebe. 

Dimensions: large feather 3.7cm x 3cm at widest point.
Hooks: Hypoallergenic (silver in colour)

Made in Christchurch, NZ by Remix Plastic.

NOTE: Each feather is unique with its own colours (and blemishes) - they are fully functioning and we celebrate their uniqueness, as we hope you do!

Our E-Vouchers and Gift Certificates make great gifts, providing an easy way to support our conservation work while treating a loved one! We have two options available depending on your needs, please get in touch if you require assistance.

E-Vouchers
– Purchase through our online shop
– After the purchase, you will receive an email with the gift voucher and instructions on how to use it
– This is a digital voucher
– Redeem online only

Gift Certificates
– Purchase in our “on-island” physical shop OR email retail@tiritirimatangi.org.nz
– Can be emailed or posted to recipient or collected from the shop on-island
– Redeem in store on Tiritiri Matangi Island only

Unfortunately vouchers cannot be used to pay for ferry, guided walk or bunkhouse bookings and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Shipping

We have partnered with NZ Post to deliver your orders both domestically and internationally.

For delivery within NZ:
You will be able to choose from a selection of shipping options when you are checking out. Choose based on your delivery address (rural or non-rural) or whether your require tracking or if you have purchased calendars only.

For international delivery:
Single calendar purchases are available.
For any further purchases please get in touch with your postal address and we can provide a quote and some options for you.

Exchanges, Returns or Faulty Items

We are happy to assist you with any issues and will always fulfil our obligations under the consumer guarantees act. Please send us an email or call us with your enquiry.

Exchanges are available within 14 days of original purchase, proof of purchase is essential and customer to cover postage costs.
We don’t offer refunds for change of mind purchases.
